Another night in Reseda for Johnny Gargano.. and it was his last one?!

Yup. Earlier in the day, over on his twitter @JohnnyGargano, he tweeted out:

“I’ve been a PWG regular since my debut in 2013. Tonight won’t be a goodbye.. but it may be a see ya later. Let’s make it one to remember!”

Where you goin’? There’s more you gotta do!

Still, the show must go on and he and Tommaso Ciampa had a really big adventure ahead of them. Read below for the results!

It’s been awhile since Johnny was at PWG. Seriously. We were going through withdrawals. But that all changed on December 11th, 2015!

Johnny met up with someone he now knows dear – Tommaso Ciampa. And the two of them teamed up yet again to face the PWG World Tag Team Champions The Young Bucks.

We can only imagine how incredible this match was.

Well.. at least until the DVD comes out. So, were Gargano and Ciampa successful? Did they win the championships? Results below, read at your own risk!

What a wild night full of wild matches, including the returns of some beloved.. but about Johnny?

Well he faced off with Brian Cage and unfortunately lost.

We’re not happy about it either.

He also tried to make the save later in the night in a whole mess involving the new Mount Rushmore but he got beat down.

Again: not happy.

Oh, Reseda. We love thee. We also know Johnny loves thee.

Another night down in PWG and this time Johnny faced someone he’s rather familiar with in Tommaso Ciampa.

Unfortunately he suffered a defeat by him but we’re sure he’ll eventually get that big W back.

We believe in ya!

DDT4 is usually full of tag matches that are off the chain, crazy and full of talent. This year? No different.

But for Johnny, he was scheduled to face off with stand out Canadian talent Mike Bailey – however, there was a card subject to change moment where he instead faced off with the one and only TJ Perkins!

Not a bad change, though we hope to see Bailey vs Gargano in the future.

Despite the change, Johnny had no issue in defeating Perkins. Better luck next time!

Our favorite Johnny is back in Reseda, California for another PWG event!

Originally, it was meant to be him, Chuck Taylor and Trent? vs. ACH, Rich Swann and AR Fox. Sounds simple enough, right? Of course, not everything goes right. This is wrestling.

Instead of Trent?, Bobby Fish substituted for him! Which, is pretty rad if you think about it.

The result of the match? Not so rad. Bobby unfortunately fell to the Low Mein Pain  and Swann, Fox and ACH picked up the win. We heard it was pretty festive.. when it’s out for preorder, you guys should totally make it your late Christmas gift!

It’s the most wonderful time of the year!

BOLA is as big as you’ve heard. PWG isn’t the front-runner for best independent wrestling promotion for no reason, and BOLA — the yearly crowning tournament — is one of the many reasons as to why it’s earned it’s high regard. BOLA is a three-day tournament where numerous wrestlers battle off to a final three-way match where the winner is crowned, and for the second year in a row, Johnny was invited to the international tournament. Bringing in talents such as Kenny Omega, Chris Sabin, Zack Sabre Jr, AJ Styles, and Curt Hawkins, this tournament had seemingly been set up for a whole ‘nother level.

And this year, it certainly brought it.

We don’t want to gloat, but 23 people were involved in this year’s tournament, and our boy made it into the final three. Starting off with beating his former tag team partner, Chuck Taylor, Johnny then went on to mow down both Trevor Lee and Candice LeRae. Winding up in the finals with one man he knows very well, Ricochet, Johnny also had to look out for the man who advanced to the finals after assaulting the PWG champion, Kyle O’Reilly.

Unfortunately, the task seemed to be too large, and Ricochet was awarded this year’s winner of the Battle of Los Angeles. However, making it to the final three is an accomplishment of it’s own, I do believe, and we’re more than happy for you, Johnny! Train like Rocky all up until next year. 2015 will be your year, bub!

Originally slated to compete with Adam Cole and Roderick Strong in a triple threat to become the number one contender for the PWG World Title, the crowd at PWG was treated to Johnny teaming with Michael Elgin against the team of Trent? and Chuck Taylor!

Yes, you read that right.

Again, thanks to the folks at PWPonderings, we’ve got the results!

There’s nothing like a good ol’ PWG show, and with the Battle of Los Angeles right around the corner, the stakes are higher than ever. Arguably with one of the biggest followings in the PWG audience, Johnny Gargano will be put to the test again in another Number One Contendership match. Unfortunately losing his last one in a four-way against Drake Younger, Chris Hero, and the current champion, Kyle O’Reilly, Johnny now has another chance.

A chance to go on to face Johnny for the third time one-on-one. Facing off against the former champion, Adam Cole, and PWG regular, Roderick Strong, Johnny is set to go in for a heck of a lot of pain.

But that’s certainly never stopped him before. With Adam still livid over his title loss, and Roderick always attempting to prove a point that he’s one of the best in independent wrestling today, Johnny will be forced to go all in, but we have faith he’ll be coming out victorious. After all, we could watch him stand toe-to-toe with Kyle for the rest of our wrestling-loving lives.

Best of luck, Gargano! We’ll be cheering for you.

PS: Avoid the chops.

The show will take place on July 26th, a month and three days before BOLA. First row seats are already sold out, but General Admission will be available at the door. Bell time is at 8:00PM, and the show promises to deliver. If you’re in the Reseda area, as always, be sure to check it out.
