After walking out victorious in a Four Way Freestyle over three other men – including current Open the Freedom Gate Champion, Johnny Gargano – Tony Nese made his goals known. With his eyes set on the current champion, Nese extended a challenge for tomorrow’s Evolve 16 event in Jacksonville, Florida. Earlier tonight at Evolve 15, Nese walked away with his second Evolve victory over Mike Cruz. Afterwards, Lenny Leonard caught up with the steadily rising star who made it clear that he was going to take what was his. Infuriated that Gargano had yet to respond to his challenge, Nese went on to state that he didn’t care about Garagano’s big match, or his injured back. He demanded to hear an answer to his challenge.

The show would continue on with the challenge hanging in the air. With the main event ending after a sudden Garga-No-Escape in the champion’s favor, Johnny Gargano was confronted by Lenny Leonard. Acknowledging Nese’s challenge, Gargano gave Nese credit for winning the match at Evolve 14 before reminding the crowd that he also was the cause of his returning back pain. With a hint of rage, Garagano then accepted the challenge, but made one thing clear: the Open the Freedom Gate Title would not be on the line due to the rightful contender being Akira Tozawa.

Finally answering the challenge, Gargano then set himself on the card for tomorrow’s Evolve event. You can watch it tomorrow live on iPPV at www.WWNLive.com to see how these two men will collide.

After a hard-fought battle at Evolve 14, DGUSA.tv’s Book It Cam caught up with the current champion. Numerous reports stating Gargano’s back was a glaring target of his opponents at tonight’s events proved correct with the video from above; the worrisome back of Gargano knocking him down momentarily in the car park of tonight’s arena.

With arguably one of the biggest matches of Gargano’s career in less than twenty-four hours, one can only wonder in what shape the reigning champion will be in. With Gargano’s metaphorical blood wading in the water, one can only assume that the challenger at tomorrow’s show in St. Petersburg, Florida will be hunting for more.

It has officially been announced! The main event for Evolve 15 will be Johnny Gargano vs. Chuck Taylor in a bout for the Open The Freedom Gate Title. With negative history building between the two stars, many have laid in wait – wondering when the bout would imminently take place.

The two tag team partners became foes after a failed attempt of gaining the vacant Open the United Gate Championship belts at Dragon Gate USA’s Open The Ultimate Gate 2012 iPPV. Turning his back to the established Ronin after the loss, Chuck Taylor would then assault his former ally one day later at Mercury Rising 2012 after Johnny successfully defended the Open the Freedom Gate Championship against Masato Yoshino.

Now, the former comrades will once again take center stage at an Evolve event putting it all on the line.
