Among the list with some of professional wrestling’s greatest, it’s an utmost honor.

Now set to go into the next round, Johnny has plenty of potential competition in front of him for the next show, and we’ll be sure to update you whenever the next event is set, and his competition is chosen.

Aired back in May on the 19th, Prime TV showed quite the match. When  Commissioner Vic Travagliante’s attempt to recruit The Dead Wrestling Society to join with The Megalomaniacs failing, he then had the questionable idea to place some of his top foes in one match – hoping that no person would walk out 100%. With Johnny speaking out against recent PRIME events, many deemed him ready for failure. With both Gregory Iron and Zach Gowen banned from the building, and longtime foe and pal Matt Cross missing in action, it seemed like no other person was willing to give up their spot on the roster to cross the questionable boss by teaming up with Johnny. Did anyone answer the call, or did Johnny get destroyed?

In a match that has managed to cause a rumbling throughout the independent wrestling scene, Johnny Gargano is set to take on “All Ego” Ethan Page at AIW’s Absolution VIII. Mere pages into the book of an epic tale, these two men have two shows worth of negative history: Both ending with Ethan Page edging out with the victories. However, this is simply just beginning. The first chapter of the Ethan Page/Johnny Gargano saga ends at Absolution VIII in a show that you just don’t want to miss.

It’s hard not to be so popular when you’re so very good, and Johnny Gargano has certainly earned even more attention in the California area these past several months. In yet another tournament, Johnny will be working for Main Event Wrestling at the Fresno Fairgrounds Gem and Mineral Building, in Fresno, California, on Sunday, July 14th at 7PM. Involved in the “California Cup” – which is an eight-man single elimination tournament involving eight of the best professional wrestlers in the country – Johnny’s first competitor is already set: “Mr. GSMI” Brian Cage.

Though the size difference is obvious, Johnny has never been one to back down from a fight, and we expect him to go on and steal the show as he works among the likes of Jimmy Rave, TJ Perkins, Adam Thornstowe, Drake Younger, and the Young Bucks.

If you live in the area and still aren’t convinced, perhaps knowing that five dollars from every ticket sold will be benefiting the Selma Animal Shelter. Tickets are available at the door for $20, but save $5 online by purchasing your ticket at the link below.

Many like to refer to PWG as the best wrestling company in the world, and considering that they were wise enough to bring back All Heart, Johnny Gargano, we might just have to agree. Dancing into California alongside Chuck Taylor, the long time tag team partners reunited once more to take on two members of the colorful group known as the DojoBros: Eddie Edwards and Roderick Strong.  The phenomenal match up unfortunately ended on a sour note for Gargano and Taylor, as Taylor was removed from the equation with a double stomp on the apron from Eddie. With Gargano distanced from his partner, he was then caught with an orange crush back breaker from Strong that gave the DojoBros the victory.

To show no hard feelings were felt, the four men then hugged in the center of the ring. It’s only questionable if you let it be. If any more information arises, we’ll be the first to let you know!
